2. Mind Maps

Mind Maps

Settings and Locations

I think that if I were to choose the Settings and Locations option, I think I would look at natural settings instead of man made (cities) or studio photography. Looking at the natural settings, I think that I could get my best images focusing on naturally shaped rocks, rivers, seas and the countryside. I would focus on making sure that I am using my camera to the best of it's ability, changing the settings to get the best quality image and using a tripod to get a stable, well focused image. I would also like to look at the Sea. Using the man made piers, sand dunes, groynes and sky to create my images. I would like to visit the sea at different times of the day, in different weather conditions, and in different seasons, to show how the natural world is always changing.

Circles and Curves

For Circles and Curves, I would once again choose natural settings for my shoots. I feel that nature photography is what I enjoy, including, Landscapes, animal and plant photography. I like the idea of using glasses, crystal balls, and mirrors in the photos as it creates an unusual but interesting image. Inside a glass ball the light is bent until it is inverted within the ball. This creates your upside down image, and when focused the camera can blur the surroundings in a technique called Bokeh. This technique can also be used when using a wine glass, however it does not flip the image. Using these glass objects I want to look at landscapes including the countryside and beaches. When studying Curves and Circles I would like to include Cave entrances, natural archways made by trees as well as rocks, rain drops on plants and I want to experiment with moon photos.
